Cooking with Rosemary Shrager

17th July 2017

We were very proud to be part of the Great Yorkshire Show again this year and we were delighted to be invited to share the stage with celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager as part of our commitment to inspiring people to enjoy eggs more.

Nick Chippindale joined Rosemary for a live cookery demonstration to create the perfect Yorkshire soufflé – using free range Yorkshire eggs of course!

Our Yorkshire eggs come from our network of bee friendly farms, where our farmers plant bumblebee friendly habitat on their land to support bumblebee populations and promote biodiversity.

This is an important element of our wider sustainability and biodiversity initiatives which seek to reduce our impact on the environment and make a positive impact on food and farming.

It was great fun appearing on stage with Rosemary Shrager and demonstrating new ways to enjoy eggs as part of a healthy diet.

During our three days at the show this year we also met lots of people on our stand in the Meet the Farmer section and were delighted to be able to talk to them about our local sourcing and bumblebee friendly campaigns.

We’re proud to supply our free range, local eggs to the leading supermarkets in the UK and we were pleased to hear from those visiting the show that they value being able to choose more ethical, local and high quality food products when they shop in store and online.
